Ismael Candelas is a senior at National Hispanic University with his focus of study on Business Administration. Although his major may not directly relate with his current employment, his passion is to ensure that there is a positive youth development and service for the students at Joseph George. “I hope that one day we will both work for a common goal of giving back to our communities.” Ismael began working with The Bay Area After-School All-Stars 2 years ago as a youth leader that changed his life completely. “I have finally found a career where the reward was beyond the monetary bi-weekly compensation and I came home every day with a story, a smile and a feeling of accomplishment.”  Ismael looks forward to meeting everyone.
